Our Story |
Studio S Fine Arts opened its first studio in Puyallup in 2011. Since then, we have expanded to Lakewood, Federal Way, and Bellevue. Through our partnership with Tacoma Art Museum and Puyallup City Hall, we have encouraged our students to display their artworks to be enjoyed and appreciated by friends and family. Throughout the years many of our students' efforts were noticed and honored at various competitions. Some of our students have moved on to study art in the the best colleges around the world. Art should be created and enjoyed so we do our best to facilitate the process from creation to display and beyond.

Our Mission
|
‘Studio S Fine Arts’ offers studio classes where students preparing for art colleges can experiment and develop their thinking skills through Process work.
Process work is not a way to start work with results drawn from the beginning in your head, but rather a process of refining, changing, developing, and working on a more suitable finished product in the process of thinking and drawing. Without this process, students can only imitate existing images. To facilitate the work, workbooks (task notes) are created by approaching them from topics, materials, culture, and society. |
